Horizontal Privacy Fence with a Louvered Effect + Window Glazing

This project featured another horizontally oriented fence design, but with a custom detail to elevate the look. We chamfered the edges of each board to create a subtle louvered effect, adding depth, shadow lines, and a more refined architectural appearance while maintaining the clean, modern style of a horizontal layout.

They then reached out for help with a set of historic double‑hung windows that had begun to fail due to deteriorated glazing. The original putty had cracked and separated from the glass, leaving the sashes vulnerable to moisture and further damage. We carefully removed the failing material, re‑glazed each window using traditional methods, and finished the work with a fresh coat of paint to protect the new glazing and revive the appearance of the windows. The result is a set of restored, weather‑tight, historically appropriate windows that will continue to serve the home for years to come.
